To all my beautiful people,

For the first time in months, I sat down today and hand wrote several letters. The longer of them ended up being a little over ten pages, and the shortest ended up at six pages. (Yes, I write long letters full of random thoughts and story ideas and all those good things.) After that, I was talking with a friend about writing letters and the importance of taking time to write them by hand to people we love.

Writing 101: Moldy Stories

To all my beautiful people,

Well, here’s this thing. Called an apology. I disappeared for a few weeks due to craziness at work. I hope to be back now at a more consistent basis.

Oh look. No actual apology. Heh.

But that’s not the point of this anyway. The point of this article was to talk about picking up old stories. Picking up the old stories that you’ve set aside for a long time and then dust off and realize you want to start working on again.

Writing 101: Time Travel Research

To all my beautiful people,

I think the hardest thing about doing story research is the lack of available material that we sometimes have to do accurate research with. Therefore, I have always thought that it would be neat to be able to go to that time period and do physical research while living in the place with the people I meant to portray in my writing.

That thought prompted this post. So work with me on assuming that time travel is possible. Seeing as this is the case, imagine you could travel to any place during any time period. Since I can metaphorically do so, the following is a list of the top five places or time periods to which I would go to research.
